South Africa starting their test campaign under a brand new captain Dean Elgar with a real bang as they won the 1st test v West Indies by an innings and 63 runs. Rabada in the 2nd innings ran riot with 5 wickets, his first fifer since March 2018. Quinton de Kock with a counterpunching innings of 141 got the man of the match. For the West Indies, the bowling of teenage debutant Jayden Seales was the talking point.
New Zealand were very close to a victory by reducing the England 2nd innings into real shambles at 122 for 9, 37 runs ahead in the 2nd innings on the 3rd day of 1st test. New Zealand with 6 changes in the team on a flat pitch has got England short & that’s a great display by the bowlers.
