South Africa set 305 runs to win the 1st test v India were 94 for 4 on day 4, needing another 211 runs to win the test on the final day, subject to rains that are forecast not happening. Dean Elgar 52 will hold the key to their chances.

Ben Mcdermott wrote a new record in the history books of Big Bash League in Australia by smashing his 3rd ton of this season for Hobart Hurricanes. He made a blistering 127 of just 65 deliveries with 9 fours and sixes v Melbourne Renegades. Hobart Hurricanes making 206 for 5 won by 85 runs v Melbourne Renegades.
