Cricket Happenings NZ level test series v Bangladesh 2 nil, India 223 all out v SA & Morris retires1 min read
New Zealand inflicted a innings defeat on Bangladesh by 117 runs to level the test series 1-1. Liton Das was the shining light for Bangladesh with a counter attacking innings of 102, his 2nd test ton. Knock was a very crisp one with 14 fours and a six. It was a nice send off for Ross Taylor who retired from New Zealand cricket with the most runs in tests for his country. A fitting way for him to end his cricketing career, albeit in a unusual manner, a maiden test wicket, but he will take it.
India were bowled out for 223 by South Africa on the 1st day of the final test, but one good thing for India was the fact, that, the Indian captain Kohli, under a bit of pressure finally came up with the good, a laborious 79 runs at that & was the one, who held the innings together. South Africa were 17 for 1 at close.
All rounder Chris Morris of South Africa has retired from cricket at age 34.
