Cricket Happenings Mumbai Indians won the 1st match in IPL 2022 & GT won by 6 wickets v RCB

Mumbai Indians finally breaking the hoodoo by winning their 1st ever match in IPL 2022, winning v RR by 5 wickets. Left arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya, whose bowling is slower through the air & besides has a lot of variety in his bowling, where he can bowl googlies & a carrom ball. Tim David 20 not out also contributed, before SKY & Tilak Verma did a good job. Daniel Sams finally cracking a six to bring some joy to the Mumbai Indians.

Gujrat Titans marched on & were once again perched on the top of the tree with 16 points. Again, it was ice cool Tewatia with his regular partner Miller icing the chase v RCB. Kohli finally got into his groove with 58, with strokes coming from the middle of the bat.
