New Zealand won the odi series v India with a creditable win in the 2nd odi with the young tall 6 ft 8 inches pace bowler, Kyle Jamieson picking up a man of the match on his odi debut. He did well with the bat offering company to Taylor & then picked up his maiden odi wicket of Shaw & bowled a very good line & was very impressive. A bowler for the future. New Zealand batting first started off well with Guptill & Latham & then Indian bounced back wonderfully well, but Ross Taylor bided his time & took them to a fighting total, which was enough in the end. Indian batting started aggressively right from the beginning, but Iyer & Rahul were guilty of playing indiscreet strokes. Jadeja & Saini, especially surprising all with his batting added 76 runs for the 8th wicket to give hope to India, but finally, Kiwis were the victors. Saini has shown his batting skills, for sure with those 2 sixes he hit.
