England will be making a bid to win the 2nd test match of the final day v West Indies to stave them off from retaining the Wisden trophy. England 37 for 2 with a 182 runs lead in the first innings lead by 219 runs going into the final day. West Indies managed to save the follow on with Chase making a 50. Stuart Broad took 3 wickets with the new cherry to blast out the West Indian batting, which at one time was in a serene position to avoid the follow on at 242 for 4, wickets, that of Brooks, Blackwood & Dowrich. Brooks contributed a attractive 68 with 11 fours. Woakes & Sam Curran bowled splendidly. England with only 8 overs to face before the close sent in Stokes & Butler as openers, but Roach clean bowled Butler & Crawley cheaply. Stokes & Root saw it out towards the close. Tomorrow, aggresive strokeplay would be the order of the day for England right from the word go to set up the West Indies with a target & then expect their team to win it.
